In this video a patient with hemifacial spasm for over a decade is treated with the anticonvulsant, VIMPAT (lacosamide), and she experiences marked improvement in her symptoms. Even with a degree of anxiety induced by being in front of a camera, evidence of improvement in the patient's symptoms is demonstrated. The treatment of hemifacial spasm with VIMPAT has not been previously reported.

We interview an 82 year old female who lost her right eye to squamous cell cancer and presented to the ER because of unrelenting pain. Her pain was relieved successfuly with a cervical injection. She is the first of two patients with cancer involving the eye who presented to the ER on the same day and responded nicely to the cervical injections.
This patient taking lisinopril for hypertension developed severe angioedema and was transferred from an outside emergency department for our management. He was subsequently intubated because of associated epiglottis swelling and airway compromise.

This video demonstrates a seizure in a six day old infant. The cause of the seizure is unknown at the time of the video being uploaded. The seizure appears to be focal tonic class of neonatal seizure. We thank the parents of this infant for willingly allowing the video to be used for teaching others how to recognize neonatal seizures.
